The team behind Woodfire Pizzeria & Cucina and Son of a Pizzaiolo are now slinging pizzas and Antipasto boards around Melbourne. We believe good food is at the heart of all good memories, and as such we want to be there at your next celebration.
Dough Slingers is the team’s third venture and aims to bring their unique pizzas straight to you! After providing North-Melbournians with our all-natural Neapolitan pizzas and Antipasti since 1999, we’re now coming your way in our mobile Wood-fired ovens.
Our passion is a result of many years of perfecting this art and our product is a result of a process which takes 48 hours at a minimum to yield the dough that forms the base of each perfectly wood-fired pizza. Try our pizza at one of our restaurants to see what we’re talking about.

We can provide napkins & biodegradable paper plates (or provide your own)
Our Antipasto boards can be customised to suit your budget and needs and we are able to source many types of ingredients to suit
We do our best to cater for gluten free, dairy product free, vegan and most other dietary requests.
*Due to the risk of cross-contamination we cannot guarantee to be allergen free.
We hold relevant permits from the MFB and CFA that allow us to work on days of a Total Fire Ban.
We can cater for all sorts of events from stand-up to sit down
We need a flat space measuring L6m W3m H3m to park in – Must be easy access
Ideally we would have 1 X 10amp adapter to plug in to, if not we can bring our generator.
We need to arrive 60mins before you would like us to serve in order to set up
We can park on all private property, but if you need us to be parked on public property we may need to seek council permission prior.
