Antipasto Boards

Our Antipasto boards can be customised to suit various budgets and styles. Antipasto will be setup to be available for the duration of pizza service. Early setups can be arranged and are subject to additional service charges. At the end of pizza service, antipasto tables boards will be packed up and the remaining food thrown out. Alternatively, you can have the antipasto setup on your own tables/boards or have us bring it in disposable boxes.

Cutlery etc

Our street pizza is environmentally friendly and best eaten as intended, with hands. Napkins are kept handy for when needed.

Biodegradable plates,forks and napkins are provided for salads, gnocchi and antipasti. We are keen to keep wastage to a minimum and only bring enough plates/forks for each guest plus a few extras. Additional plates and cutlery can be provided for pizza or to cover any extras needed at a cost of $1.50 per set.

Deposit/Payment policy

A 25% deposit is required to lock in your booking on the requested date. The deposit is non-refundable as Dough Slingers will reject all enquiries which conflict with your event once your booking is secure. Full payment of the remaining balance will be required one month before the date of the event . Any refund of the balance, or part thereof, will be made at the discretion of Dough Slingers after consideration of the cost of stock, staff wages and any other lost revenue.

For postponements/cancellations due to government restrictions such as COVID 19 lockdowns. Dough Slingers will endaevour to rebook the event and work with the client to find a fair and reasonable solution for both parties.

Electricity

Access to power near to our setup area is helpful. If this is not practical, let us know and we’ll bring a generator.

Event Types

We can cater for all sorts of events from stand-up to sit down.

Gluten Free Pizzas

Gluten free bases are available at a cost of $5 each.

• Due to the risk of cross-contamination we cannot guarantee to be allergen free.

Parking & access

We need a flat space measuring L6m W3m H3m to park in — must be easy access.

We can park on all private property, but if you need us to be parked on public property we may need to seek council permission prior.

Permits

If there is a chance of a Total Fire Ban on the day of the event, we ask that you contact the local fire authority for advice. We can bring a gas pizza oven if requested upon booking.

Pizza Size

Our pizzas are 11 inches and are best for sharing, cut them in to 6 slices and serve them on wooden boards.

Times

We arrive at least 30 minutes before you would like us to serve pizza. Times vary depending on the event details and earlier arrivals can be arranged and are subject to additional service charges.

Vegan Pizzas

Vegan cheese is available on request. May incur extra charges.

Weather

We bring a gazebo to shelter us from rain while we make pizza. Storms and strong winds are an unfortunate reality of an outdoor operation and can slow things down considerably. Selecting a sheltered site for us to operate will be helpful in such cases. A well ventilated structure like a warehouse, carport or barn is ideal.
